Start Small, Stay Focused

Get Happy Challenge, Day 1

Tip: Get into a routine... I've tried this before, but I will try, try again. I want to wake up at 6am everyday (except weekends). I have such a varying work schedule it's hard to stick to anything, but that's just an excuse. I can do it!! Can I get up at 6am everyday?? A friend mentioned conditioning my brain to jump up and brush my teeth at the sound of the alarm. To lay down in the middle of the day and set alarm, then jump up and brush teeth. Continuing to do this should make it easier to do in morning, with the thought that once you've done this you won't go back to bed. It's worth a try. I can do it! I can do it!

Goal: Run (walk) 3 times this week, starting today. My Nike run app will be watching me. Can you set it to beep at you to force you to run? LOL

  1. I'm so proud of you for running today!!! We're gonna make it! I'm doing a 5k in november and have been trying to at least walk it 3-4 times a week I. The evenings. Now, I've gotta throw in some running. :-) I love you, doll!
